Waiting on Boaz

Perhaps the most significant lesson from the Bible comes from the story of Ruth and Boaz.

biblical boazThank you, Kristal, for making my day.  First this hysterical broad and now detailed instructions for what to avoid in my love life?!  What a week in comedy.

Lyin-az, Dumb-az, Drunk-az, and Lockedup-az….types I know well.  Want to know the best part about scoring one of these winners?  Chances are you’ve gained all four in a single person!  Involvement with a loser inevitably produces the challenge of walking a fine line on a slippery slope– only to start snowballing until the mess encompasses multiple transgressions.  It’s difficult to find one without the other as these douchey defects tend to go hand in hand.  But I digress.  That was then.  This is now.

The best things in life, such as Boaz, are totally worth the wait.

With infinite love, gratitude, and respect,

Sloane

About Cocktails With Hemingway

I'm blunt and opinionated. Virtually everything I say or do is a contradiction but I'm not a hypocrite. I never hesitate to speak my mind and never fail to leave an impression wherever I go. You love me, you hate me, but you'll never forget me.

That’s THE funniest! I’ve just copied and texted to 5 women and 3 men! I love the “third cousin”! Haha. Whoever wrote that must be a fun person to be around.
