Social butterfly Sloane

Blogging becomes quite difficult when your dance card stays full. Amber guarantees a calendar stuck on overdrive. I could retire before the end of January and have my social obligations fulfilled for the year. Since our paths crossed I’ve met more people and participated in more outings than I have in the past ten years.

My departure from ye olde bat cave challenges me at times. More often than not, actually. But I appreciate the opportunity for new endeavors. With the exception of Maris I’ve never experienced a healthy social life with healthy individuals participating in healthy activities. Am I overwhelmed, anxious, and exceedingly awkward at times? You bet. It’s a learning curve. Yet I’m content to sit back and try something new. Letting Amber demonstrate her neurotic planning capabilities set my schedule is a welcome relief.

With infinite love, gratitude, and respect,
Sloane

About Cocktails With Hemingway

I'm blunt and opinionated. Virtually everything I say or do is a contradiction but I'm not a hypocrite. I never hesitate to speak my mind and never fail to leave an impression wherever I go. You love me, you hate me, but you'll never forget me.
