No on 1

“Regardless of your position on the difficult issue of abortion, as a voter in Tennessee you should be appalled at the deception that is written into the proposed Amendment 1 on the ballot for this general election.”~ The Tennessean

1Whenever I get political I urge readers to make their own informed decisions.  Research both sides of the argument.  See where you stand.  Ask questions.  However, please don’t reduce this to a mere ‘pro choice’ debate; doing so misses the point entirely.  Let me stop myself here so I don’t turn Cocktails With Hemingway into a NO1 blog.  Worth noting is the fact that all four major Tennessee newspapers urge their readers to vote NO on Amendment 1.  Dad and I are voting tomorrow, the last day of early voting, and I suggest you all cast your ballot and make your voice heard!

With infinite love, gratitude, and respect,

About Cocktails With Hemingway

I'm blunt and opinionated. Virtually everything I say or do is a contradiction but I'm not a hypocrite. I never hesitate to speak my mind and never fail to leave an impression wherever I go. You love me, you hate me, but you'll never forget me.
