Happy Halloween! Costumes selected, Jack o’ Lantern carved, edible crafts made [courtesy of Pinterest], and candy buckets at the ready. We’re prepared to move the festivities indoors if rain prohibits going door to door. This marks the first time my children have ever gone trick or treating together– I can’t even think about what I was doing on this day last year. I’m so thrilled to be home I may even dress up, both for work and with my kids.
Bitstrips amuse to no end. I just wish the app worked better. You already know I took it upon myself to make avatars for my coworkers. Even funnier than Bitstrips is my role Merilynn’s dream: She tried to convince the Mormon Temple in L.A. to hide Adam and me, but I had to cut off the toes for a pair of tube socks so I could hide the tattoos on my arms. Why ruin a perfectly good pair of socks when I could just use my magic underwear instead?

Friday afternoon. Two days. In less than 48 hours Z comes home to me. God, I’ve missed him so much. At times his absence seemed unbearable. Never again will we do a long distance relationship. Live and learn.
