Atascadero, CA <3

Is this gorgeous or is this gorgeous?

A government building in Atascadero

All the pretty colors!

We have finally settled into our new home in California!  Until we get a place of our own we are living with Will’s Aunt Nita and Uncle David in the lovely town of Atascadero, less than fifteen minutes from San Luis Obispo.  For simplicity’s sake I’ll say we live in the SLO area.  It’s really surprising how close so many of these cities are to one another.  I’m completely unfamiliar with the area and I can recite at least half a dozen towns within close proximity to us.  How wonderful this area– and our family here– is.  I’m blessed wherever I go….and now I’m blessed that much more with palm trees and the Pacific Ocean.  =)

Now that I have regular access to a computer my blogs will resume daily.  I’ve missed you, WordPress!  My next few entries will catch everyone up with my pregnancy, our train ride, and the first two AMAZING days we’ve spent in The Golden State.

With infinite love, gratitude, and respect,

Sloane

About Cocktails With Hemingway

I'm blunt and opinionated. Virtually everything I say or do is a contradiction but I'm not a hypocrite. I never hesitate to speak my mind and never fail to leave an impression wherever I go. You love me, you hate me, but you'll never forget me.

  1. I know transitions can be hard, but I’m happy yours is turning out so well. good luck to you and yours, and I’m sorry I didn’t get to truly know you better when you were here.

  2. Thank you so much. You are a unique woman and I have lots of respect for you. Despite the fact that we didn’t get to spend more time together……I hope you always remember THE ULTIMATE White Light Blessing you received from yours truly. 😉

That and I’m glad we have the internet. I’ll get caught up on your blog within the next few days– can’t wait!
