Let’s pray I don’t jinx my condition by declaring this publicly…..but I have experienced no symptoms of pregnancy with the exception of a missed semicolon. Despite my absence of suffering, I still milk my excessive ‘fatigue’ when Adam retires for the evening. While I was perched in my bed watching Law & Order: SVU last night, Will left, ostensibly for a cigarette run [what I wouldn’t give for him to kick that nasty habit] and returned with all sorts of goodies. Most of you probably see nothing monumental with these items yet I was as excited as a kid in a candy shop by his thoughtful gesture. Not only did he spoil me with some bath luxuries, he purchased essentials [People magazine and US Weekly are as about as imperative as it gets] and creative items too. I made a passing complaint several weeks ago about our unscented laundry detergent so he picked up Tide with a strong, fresh smell. Somehow he remembered my positive response to the commercial for Moroccan Argon Oil shampoo & conditioner. And I even got a new brush since mine was falling apart.
Knowing I was on his mind during the most mundane errands warms my heart. Taking it one step further, he thought of little ways to brighten my day and make my life easier. I prefer gifts like these to more extravagant items any day. Thank you, Will. You are so loved and so appreciated.
With infinite love, gratitude, and respect,
